ZAVODOVSKI ISLAND

A shoal, with a least known depth of 27m, was reported to lie 27 miles NW of Zavodovski Island. 10.92 Visokoi Island (56°43'S., 27°09'W.) is located about 25 miles SSE of Zavodovski Island, and is also a single vol canic cone. The summit, Mount Hodson, is 1,005m high and is generally obscured by smoke or steam.
