Shimizu (Simizu) (32°46'N., 132°57'E.) (World Port Index No. 61990) is a deep sea fishery base. Vessels up to 2,000 grt can anchor here. The port is said to accommodate a large number of vessels up to 100 grt. There are many rocks and reefs near the harbor entrance.
