SCARBA

Scarba (56°11'N., 5°43'W.), a bleak and rugged island, has no harbors. Cruach Scarba is a pyramidal peaked eminence in the interior of the island. The S coast of Scarba is bold and steep to. Temporary anchorage can be taken in depths of up to 18m about 300m off the E coast, and in the bay near the SE extremity of Scarba; both places are little affected by the tidal current.
