ROCAS FRAILES

Rocas Frailes (11°12'N., 85°51'W.), a group of three almost circular rocks, each 18m high, steep to, and flat topped, lies offshore about 3 miles SE of San Juan del Sur Light. The easternmost rock of the group appears as a ship under sail when seen from the N, but is not easily distinguished from the W.
