East side of Zaliv Shelikhova.Bukhta Kavacha lies between Mys Utkolokskiy and Mys Omgon (58°01'N., 157°41'E.). An above water rock, position doubtful, lies about 8 miles E of Mys Utkolokskiy. A drying ledge, in the S part of the bay, extends in an ENE direction for over 2.2 miles, and about 0.7 mile offshore. Foul ground extends about 1 mile W of Mys Promezhutochnyy, on the E side of the bay.
