Beatrice Oil Field (58°08'N., 3°03'W.), with three production platforms, lies centered 14 miles E of Berriedale Ness. A submarine power cable extends NW from the field to the shore and a submarine pipeline extends SW from the field to a bay lying on the W side of Moray Firth (58°00'N., 3°00'W.).
