Milford Haven, formed by the broad and deep outlet of the River Cleddau, is entered between Saint Ann's Head and Sheep Island, 2 miles ESE. The port is principally a major oil terminal for deep draft tankers. Pembroke Dock, a cargo term inal, is situated at the E end of the haven.
