Songkhla Harbor is entered between Laem Sai (7°14'N., 100°35'E.) and Hua Khao Daeng, 0.5 mile SW. A short breakwater extends NE from Laem Sai. A spit, parts of which dry, extends 2 miles NW of Laem Sai, and is crossed by a narrow dredged channel close NW of the breakwater.
