Kwangyang Steel Mill is a new port built on reclaimed land 3 miles WNW of Nakpo’ogap Light. A deepwater terminal has been constructed on the N side of the channel, 1 mile NE of Myodo. This terminal accommodates vessels of up to 250,000 dwt handling bulk, coal, and ore cargo.
