Habu Ko, a local port, lies in the S part of Inno Shima. The harbor comprises all of Nagasaki Seto and the W side of the N part of Yuge Seto. The main industry of the port is shipbuilding; the main portion of the Hitachi Shipyard is situated in the S part of Inno Shima.
