Kunsan (Gunsan), of considerable importance as an outlet, stands on the S side of the entrance of Kum Gang; Kunsan Hang is the anchorage off the city of Kunsan. Janghang, on the N side of the river opposite Kunsan, is considered as a berth in the port of Kunsan. The harbor is approached via a narrow channel between low lying dangers which give a poor radar presentation.
