Anchorage can be taken, clear of the rocks, in depths of 32.9 to 36.6m. Anchorage can also be taken S of Gull Island, sheltered by islets and rocks fronting the E side of the anchorage, which is approached from the W through a clear passage. There are depths of 20.1 to 23.8m, mud, at the anchorage. Badger Bay to Cape St. John
