Fethiye Korfezi (36°40'N., 29°00'E.), a large gulf, is entered between Ilbiz Burnu and Kurdoglu Burnu, 8.5 miles WNW. The depths in the entrance to the gulf are deep and clear, but the inner reaches are encumbered by numerous islands and sunken dangers lie on the N and W sides.
