DONEGAL BAY

Donegal Bay (5431'N., 830'W.) is entered between Ballyconnell Point and Malinbeg Head, 19 miles NNW. Mountain ranges rise on the S side of the bay and are prom inent from seaward. Slieve League rises on the N shore of the bay, 3 miles E of Malinbeg Head. This peak is 596m high and conspicuous.
