Western Passage, between Moose Island and Deer Island, connects Friar Roads with Passamaquoddy Bay. The passage is entered between Deer Point, the S extremity of Deer Island, and Dog Island (44°55'N., 66°59'W.), 6.1m high, about 0.5 mile SSW. Lights are shown from Deer Point and Dog Island.
