Clark's Marina is a family-owned business that has been in operation for over 45 years.
Ed Clark founded the marina in 1959. Having been involved in the motel
and tourism industry, Ed saw the potential that Gananoque and the 1000
Islands had and would have in the future, becoming one of the world's
best boating destinations. Ed, with his ingenuity and imagination
started his marina, and with that became one of the industry pioneers
in the area. Clark's Marina was born.
Ed's son Bruce joined the company in 1972, and a few years later
with the addition of a couple bus routes, Clark Bus and Marina Ltd. was
formed. Over his 30 years operating the buisness, Bruce has expanded
the Marina's storage capacity from 40 slips to over 160 slips today.
Today, our full service marine shop provides customers the ability to
have all of their boating needs met on site.
With Sean, Mike and Andy Clark (Bruce's Sons) now involved with the
daily operations, Clark's Bus and Marina has entered into it's third
generation of family operation. The friendly atmosphere and family
reputation are traits that have for many years set Clark's Marina apart
from the competition.
