CHODO GUNDO

Hyongje Do (Choko To), midway between Togu Do and Sodogu Do, consists of three islets lying close together; from a distance these islets have the appearance of one island. Chodo Gundo (Chodo Kundo)(34°14'N., 127°15'E.), about 10 miles N of Geomun Do, consists of one fairly large island and a number of islets and rocks. Cho Do, the largest island, may be identified by a peculiar long ridge which appears as a sharp peak when seen from N or S. Chang (Jang) Do, the westernmost island of the group, lies about 2.75 miles WSW of Cho Do; it is high, cliffy, and flat topped. The N islet of the group lies about 2.75 miles N of Cho Do; a rock which dries 0.9m lies close W of another rock about 1.3 miles SE of this islet.
