Cape Mugford (57°50'N., 61°43'W.) is the NE extremity of Cod Island (57°46'N., 61°46'W.). The island is separated from Grimmington Island (57°50'N., 62°00'W.) by Mugford Tickle (57°48'N., 61°53'W.), a channel deep and clear of dangers.
