The village of La Perade stands on both banks of the Riviere Ste. Anne, about 1 mile above the entrance, on the N bank of the St. Lawrence River opposite Cap Levrard. A church with two square towers stands in the village. A chimney, prominent from the river, is situated about 0.5 mile SW of the church.
