Two anchorages are indicated here, one is Risley Island just at the entrance to the Passage, so we tried that one. Rock bottom, large granite fingers under us, not sure what other rocks were about. Sat for a half hour or so and as the wind picked up, we decided we weren’t happy there so up anchor and headed back up the Passage to marker A91 where there is a small sheltered bay on the north side. By now the sun was hidden behind the rain clouds and we could not see what was under us - it is nice to have that sun behind you - but finally saw weeds in the water, assumed silty bottom, picked a spot and dropped anchor again. Got a really good hold first try and spent the rest of the day here.
